🔒 The short version: LittleAnchor stores everything locally on your device. We don't run servers, we don't collect your personal data, and we don't sell anything. Your family's information stays on your phone.

LittleAnchor is designed exclusively for parents and caregivers of young children. Children do not directly interact with or use this app — they participate in calming activities guided by their parent or caregiver. As a result, we do not collect information from children, and the app does not provide any interface for children to independently enter data.
LittleAnchor is a local-only app. All data you enter — including child profiles, session history, and notification preferences — is stored directly on your device using Apple's standard secure storage (SharedPreferences/UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers, because we don't operate any servers.
We do not collect:
Premium subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store). LittleAnchor does not process, store, or have access to your payment information. Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive only a confirmation of whether a valid purchase exists — we never see your payment details.
If you enable reflection reminders, LittleAnchor schedules local notifications on your device using Apple's notification system. These are triggered entirely on-device — no data is sent to any external server to deliver them. Your notification preferences are stored locally on your device only.
LittleAnchor is intended for use by parents and caregivers aged 18 and over. Children do not use the app directly and do not create accounts, enter personal information, or interact with any digital interface within the app. Because children are not direct users of LittleAnchor, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requirements for verifiable parental consent do not apply to our app in the traditional sense. Nonetheless, we are committed to child safety and do not collect any data about children under any circumstances.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Because all data is stored locally on your device, you can exercise these rights at any time by deleting the app or clearing app data through your device settings. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with certain rights regarding your personal information. Because LittleAnchor does not collect, sell, or share personal information, there is no personal data for us to disclose, delete, or opt you out of selling. We do not sell personal information. Ever.
LittleAnchor does not integrate with third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or social media platforms. The only third party involved in your use of LittleAnchor is Apple, through the App Store, for app distribution and in-app purchases.
Since all data remains on your device, the security of your data is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, device encryption). We encourage you to keep your device software up to date and use a device passcode to protect your information.
Your data is retained on your device for as long as you have the app installed. Deleting the app or clearing app data from your device settings will permanently remove all locally stored information. We have no ability to recover this data once deleted.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of LittleAnchor after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
